Painting with light

Today we did some painting with light in groups. The way in which we achieved this effect is by setting the exposure time to around 15 seconds on the camera and then attempted to paint in the air with various light sources such as torches, phones and laser pointers.

Below is a picture of the first idea we had in mind, and what we did was we drew around someone with torches, producing a zig-zagged outline to give off the affect as if they were being electrocuted:
